
The Canadian German Lawyers Association was incorporated on November 20th, 1992 in Germany as a non-profit organization to bring together Canadian lawyers who act on behalf of German speaking clients, German Rechtsanwälte who represent Canadian clients, as well as members of the German Canadian business and professional community.

- to improve the knowledge of the law and legal institutions of Germany and Canada by means of publications, lectures and other public events;
- to encourage Canadian and German lawyers to participate in the exchange and training of Referendare and articling students; and
- to publish a newsletter and reports advising the members of current events and legal developments.
